Have you ever experienced online shopping first-hand? If you happen to be not, then, this
\nsummary is designed likewise. Online (internet shopping) can be a cumbersome experience at
\nboth ends of the spectrum, whether it is the customers or the businesses that are trying to
\nimplement it properly. To be fair, the process of digital transformation is not one that happens
\ninstantly, but rather a rigorous process involving all aspects of the business itself. These aspects
\nare; CRM (customer relationship management), Marketing (digital), CRR (customer retention
\nrate), SCM (supply chain management), Stock\/Inventory management, Product distribution
\nchannels and so on.
\nFurthermore, humans by nature are keen on being more efficient upon doing tasks. One
\nsuch task we can all agree on to be digitally transformed is shopping. Offline shopping has been
\nknown as a tedious and time-consuming process that is seen unnecessary in today\u2019s fast-paced
\nworld. Oftentimes, offline shopping is slowly being replaced by its online counterpart. This
\nchange has grown rampant as the commodity exchange centers have shifted towards the online
\nrevolution, leaving old-school local wet markets, supermarkets, malls and etc in despair.
\nThis ongoing trend has led to some major business closings. As such, people have
\ngradually shifted to the more comfortable (though less reliable) E-commerce model. A more
\nagile and 24\/7 approach to digital shopping. By E-commerce, MSME\u2019s (Micro, Small and
\nMedium Enterprises) have the innate ability to enhance their customer purchase friction by
\nletting them purchase goods and services right from the comfort of their home. Every product
\nviewing (searching) and transactions are seamlessly conducted online. Say goodbye to old
\nshopping habits one would say, as online is the new norm.
\nTo further elaborate, this paragraph is dedicated to elaborate on what really is an
\nE-commerce and E-marketplace. E-commerce (Electronic Commerce) is the activity that
\ninvolves the distributing, selling, buying and marketing products (goods and services) by
\nutilizing telecommunications networks such as the internet, television, or other various computer
\nnetworks for that purpose. In simple terms, e-commerce is the process of buying and selling
\nproducts electronically. E-commerce itself has grown in recent years (especially in Indonesia)
\nand is slowly replacing traditional brick-and-mortar shops (Offline).
\nBy this stance, we as a group view E-commerce as the bridge that further closes the gap
\nbetween the merchant and its customer. Moreover, the ongoing pandemic is a prime example of
\nthe premise as physical interaction is an absolute no-go.
\nAs a result, our group decided to take the initiative as to provide Indonesia\u2019s booming
\ndigital economy and transformation. A change that is accelerated by this pandemic. A change
\nthat gives us a chance to provide an \u201cE-commerce website builder\u201d services. Our service is
\npredicted to suit the growing demand and needs of local MSME\u2019s to transform themselves
\ndigitally as to ripe the only available profits in these harsh times. This digital transformation will
