Aznan Abu Bakar

Aznan is Senior Specialist at the User Experience Centre at Singapore Polytechnic– leading the institution’s work in the industry capacity building, service and product innovation partnerships in public and private sectors. Through his time at Singapore Polytechnic, he has led several projects and workshops that leveraged on DT, business strategy tools such as Blue Ocean Strategy, Business Model Canvas and Innovation Ecosystems as well quality management systems to support organisations identify opportunities to enhance their processes, product and service offering to both internal stakeholders and final end-users or customers.
Some of these projects in the healthcare sector included digitalising operations to produce more than 40% savings in efficiency, while others in real estate had helped the client to streamline their front and back office work to provide more opportunities for staff to delight their end customers. He has also worked with more than 19 governmental agencies both in Singapore as well in the ASEAN region and countries like Bhutan and China. The work included both knowledge transfer and skill acquisition as to how public officers can improve citizens’ service jouney, as well working with agencies to put into play actual service improvements.
