Pada umumnya, <em>insecure<\/em> pada masa remaja terjadi karena adanya perubahan emosional dan kognitif, serta perubahan hormonal sehingga rasa cemas akan cenderung lebih tinggi dibanding pada rentang perkembangan usia lainnya. Namun, perasaan <em>insecure<\/em> merupakan perasaan yang wajar yang bisa dirasakan oleh para remaja bahkan oleh orang tua sekalipun, namun rasa <em>insecure<\/em> yang berlebihan tidak dianjurkan karena dapat membuat seseorang menjadi tidak bisa berkembang dan <em>stress<\/em>.
