They believe small changes to people\u2019s lifestyle can affect the earth. Hence, this year\u2019s theme is \u201cIt Starts from You\u201d. This event consists of digital campaign and main event which had been held on March 28<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 30<sup>th<\/sup> 2019 where March 30<sup>th<\/sup> as the peak event. It is the most unique and a mandatory for this event was the act for saving energy by turning off the light for an hour while the main event goes on March 30th, 2019 at 20.30. Whoops! Don\u2019t forget about Ponya, which is this year\u2019s mascot and hopefully could go far to raise people\u2019s awareness.<\/p>\n<p>Main event has the concept of \u201cStarry Forest\u201d where stars symbolizes hope for people to take action. It was held at BINUS Square Exhibition Area. There were games to enrich and raise awareness about the importance of reducing plastic, karaoke, wishing tree to make a wish for themselves and the earth, photowall with the concept of \u201cImagine if you live in a sea full of trash\u201d, performances by BINUS Square Boarders and BSSC Music Community, workshop on how to make a tote bag by Angie Angela, seminar from Divers Clean Action about \u201cPlastic Ocean Emergency\u201d by Swietenia Puspa Lestari, crafting booth to recycle used newspapers and semi eco-friendly food stalls where people were welcomed to buy foods with their own container. This year, Avani gives us out cassava bags and paper straws.<\/p>\n<p>Besides events, there were also several food stalls that sold different kinds of cuisines such as Hiroji, Dutch Kitchen, Yoshinoya, Dum-Dum, Nasi Goreng Jawara, Lady Oishi, Zahra Ice Cream, and Doner Kebab. Also, there was a non-food stall that sells eco-friendly merchandise and shoes cleaning services, they were Habitatku and Shoo! and a special stall from BSSC itself which is BSSC Merchandise Stall that sold loads of merchandise such as tumblers, stickers, tote bags, stainless straws, lanyards, etc.<\/p>\n<p>The peak event was on the March 30<sup>th<\/sup> 2019. It was the last Saturday of March, where people around the world have a reminder ceremony to support climate change for at least 60 minutes at 20.30 WIB. It was an amazing night because the venue was crowded and there were various performances by Paduan Suara Bina Nusantara (PARAMABIRA), Sher &amp; Jess, Evan &amp; Dany, Cris &amp; Audrey. The guests were also entertained by the guest star, Gabriella Eka Putri, who gave sparkles through her dance and cover songs. The peak event was closed with flashmob by BSSC Earth Hour committee.
