BSSC Activist\u2019s Cadre Forming is an annual event that BSSC held to prepare and evaluate its new member candidates as participants through a series of activities such as seminar, talkshow, event making group project, and out bond. This event was held for 3 days from September 28th, 2018 until September 30th, 2018. The first two days were held in Oak Room, BINUS Square and the last day was in Alam Sutera Campus, BINUS University.<\/p>\n

BSSC Activist Cadre Forming took \u2018Grow Through The Challenge!\u201d as its theme this year. It represents our wish and encouragement for all of BSSC\u2019s new member candidates to be able to face all challenges with enthusiasm and grow to be better and stronger along the way.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

On the first day, we invited one of BINUS University\u2019s Vice Rector to share more knowledge about how to succeed in organization and campus life. After that, we also did a talkshow with BINUS University Student Creativity Development Center (SCDC) and Program Development Center (PDC) Representatives to talk about their experience in joining organization and how it can benefit them in the future especially in their career.<\/p>\n

On the second day we divided BSSC\u2019s new member candidates into a few groups and challenged them to show their teamwork, creativity, and skill by creating an event proposal and poster for 90 minutes. After the time was up, they presented their result to the juries and the other groups. So many interesting ideas were delivered during this session.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Lastly, on the last day of the Activist Cadre Forming, BSSC\u2019s new member candidates were \u00a0given a lot of amusing games in the out bond. Many lessons were also obtained from each games such as the importance of teamwork, focus, coordination, and communication. Before finishing the event, BSSC\u2019s alumni came to share their experience in BSSC and what they\u2019ve learnt after joining BSSC. In this event, many showed their potentials and determinations. Hopefully those who later will become the member of BSSC can make BSSC 9th Presidency better than before.<\/p>\n

Senior<\/p>\n

Every year, all organization in BINUS University will face regeneration where new members will be chosen as the new staff for the next presidency while the previous staff will continue as seniors who later will have bigger roles. The same goes for BSSC. The staff who will continue to be part of BSSC for the next presidency is called Senior Staff. They will help their managers to maintain the division. And, the perfect way to begin it is to prepare them for their even bigger roles in Senior Cadre Forming.<\/p>\n

This year, Senior Cadre Forming was held on September 28th, 2018 at BINUS Square. Chairman of BSSC 9th Presidency and Advisor of BSSC 9th Presidency led the event by giving materials about the purpose of BSSC to make sure all seniors are on the same page and heading to the same direction. BSSC\u2019s vision, mission, and values were also delivered to them so they can understand what the organization wants to accomplish and reinforce it in the future because while the real work of achieving it will be done by the countless small choices and decisions made by individual members, it is organization vision and mission that will later guide them.<\/p>\n
