Learn, Connect, Thrive: Growing Together Through Meaningful Experiences
At BINUS Square, we believe that mental well-being is nurtured through meaningful experiences, continuous learning, and a strong sense of community. To support every boarder’s well-being journey, the Student Support Office regularly organizes a variety of well-being activities designed to promote self-awareness, reduce stress, strengthen resilience, and encourage a healthier, happier university life.
Our programs include seminars, workshops, and other well-being sessions and activities that equip boarders with practical knowledge and skills to better understand and care for their mental health. Topics range from stress management, mindfulness, emotional well-being, and art therapy, disability awareness, and inclusive community experiences, including visits to disability-friendly cafés.
Recognizing that social connection is an essential part of well-being, BINUS Square also provides opportunities for boarders to build meaningful friendships through community-based initiatives such as Know Yourself, Know Your Friendship, and Mutual Club. These activities bring together students with shared interests, experiences, or personal goals, fostering authentic connections and a stronger sense of belonging within the BINUS Square community.
To further strengthen peer support BINUS Square offers a program named Care Companion, which is a Peer Counseling program facilitated by scholarship boarders who have completed specialized training in active listening, empathy, and basic helping skills. This initiative provides a safe, approachable space where fellow boarders can share their concerns, receive emotional support, and feel heard by peers who understand the student experience.
Through these diverse initiatives, BINUS Square strives to create a living environment where every boarder feels supported, connected, and empowered to become the best version of themselves—academically, socially, and emotionally.
