MC Training Program 2026 is a work program initiated by the Human Resources Development Subdivision under the Internal Affairs Division. This event, also known as MTP’26, marks the first event organized by the 16th Presidency. The training program aims to build self-confidence, recognize one’s potential, and have the courage to take on the role of Master of Ceremony (MC). With the theme “Get to Know the MC Edition: Let’s Express Your Voice and Act Here!” The event took place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m., Western Indonesian Time. While it was open to all BSSC 16th Presidency activists, except the Internal Affairs Division responsible for managing this work program, it primarily targeted members of the Self-Development Division and External Affairs Division.

MTP’26 began with welcoming speeches from Maria Vania Datu Sadina as the PIC of MC Training Program 2026 and Yonggara Halim Senata as the Chairman of BSSC 16th Presidency. The event was led by Irena Nur Diani as the MC, who guided participants throughout the program. The training then continued with two learning sessions led by experienced trainers. Each session was designed to help participants learn important skills and gain experience as an MC through simulation.

The first session, Building Confidence as an MC, was delivered by Michaela Vianca Pangaribuan which covered the definition of MC, types and differences of MC, language structures used, intonations used, how to improvise in formal or non-formal MC, and tips for becoming an MC. This session was followed by a Question and Answer segment, where participants engaged by asking questions, which were thoroughly answered by the trainer.

The second session, Demo Performance, was presented by Michaela Vianca Pangaribuan and provided an example of MCing a non-formal event about the BINUS Festival, which invited celebrity guest, Tulus. All participants enthusiastically responded to Michaela Vianca Pangaribuan’s informal MC performance. The session lasted for 5 minutes and was very interactive and inspired participants to perform as MC.

Following the training session, participants took part in an MC simulation, where each participant was divided into groups and performed based on predetermined themes. Their performances were assessed by judge Michaela Vianca Pangaribuan. After scoring was completed, there were three categories of winners: Best Fluency Award, Best Improvisation Award, and Best Confidence Award. The Best Fluency Award won by group 3, namely Marsya Gowijaya and Jason Timothy Lie, with the theme Formal MC Organizational Management Inauguration.

Then, the Best Improvisation Award winner category was won by group 2, namely Angwen Cahyono and Syafadilla Anggraini, with the theme Opening MC Non Formal BSSC Gathering & Bonding Night.

And finally, the Best Confidence Award winner category was won by group 5, namely Abell Via Margaretha Rajagukguk H and Adam Latif Gunawan with the theme MC Ice Breaking BSSC Activity Training.

In addition, certificates were awarded to the speaker and winners as an expression of appreciation for their contribution to the program.

The event concluded with a group photo session, after the participants completed an evaluation form. This MC Training Program 2026 aims to help BSSC activists improve their public speaking skills, particularly as MCs, so they can present themselves with confidence and professionalism in various settings.
