Jakarta, 2025 – BLOXFEST is an event focused on fostering community and strengthening bonds among boarders through shared participation in ROBLOX gaming. In the current era, ROBLOX holds a commendable reputation as a platform for social connection during leisure time. BLOXFEST is organized by the BINUS Square Ambassador 2025/2026, specifically by the Event Collaboration division. BLOXFEST is structured into two distinct sessions. Session 1 features the game “Mount Merbabu,” which is designed to emphasize individual proficiency and skill. Session 2 features the game “Chained Together,” which focuses on cultivating patience and collaborative teamwork, thereby striving to create positive relationships and shared memories among the boarders.

Session 1 – Mount Merbabu

Mount Merbabu is a well-known ROBLOX game that challenges players to complete an in-game mountain climb as quickly as possible. At the commencement of the session, each participant was instructed to await the start signal at the designated starting line, situated before the “TAMAN NASIONAL GUNUNG MERBABU” sign. The competition began at 15:45, following a brief introduction to the rules and guidelines. During the competition, players navigated various parkour elements within the map. Failure to complete a section necessitated a retry of the challenge, meaning players had to restart from the beginning if their in-game health reached zero or start over from the bottom of the numerous available ladders. The first player successfully completed the game in approximately 14–15 minutes, securing the first-place victory. Two other participants finished shortly thereafter, in about 15–16 minutes. All three winners were individually awarded E-MONEY.

Session 2 – Chained Together

The event featured a challenge based on the popular ROBLOX game Chained Together, which uniquely demands simultaneous individual effort and cohesive group collaboration. The objective for each team was to ascend to the map’s highest point, navigating a series of obstacles while ensuring no team member was left behind or fell. Success relied on coordinated climbing and movement until the finish. The competition began dynamically, with teams enthusiastically striving to outperform one another, fostering a spirit of enjoyable rivalry.

As the session progressed, a significant distance began to form between the leading teams and the rest of the field. One of the most challenging obstacles involved synchronized movement across a moving platform, a difficulty exacerbated by potential internet latency impacting the timing of individual jumps. Nevertheless, several teams demonstrated exceptional skill, and occasionally luck, to successfully cross and advance further through the map. Despite intermittent technical difficulties, such as player reconnections or gadget-related delays, all teams maintained high spirits throughout the duration of the session, which ran from 18:30 to 20:30. The final winners were the team that achieved the maximum distance of 799 meters. This victorious team was collectively awarded a substantial prize in the form of e-money.

To end the event overall we took some photos at each of the session to commemorate the first gathering ever for BLOXFEST, we hoped they enjoyed it and want to play together more often creating more memories with each other and of course harnessing a great amount of patience too

Warm Regards,
