Every company wants to have a good reputation in society. The products offered are definitely expected to be remembered by the public, especially potential customers. There are various ways to give an impression that can be remembered by potential customers, one of which is to create a brand that stands out. Therefore, BINUS Square Student Committee offers a helping hand for those who want to make their product’s brand stand out by presenting BSSC Workshop “How to Make Your Brand Stand Out.”

This workshop is expected to help inspire and provide knowledge to participants to do branding correctly. We also aim to develop the inner talent of each participant, especially in the field of ​​branding. BSSC Workshop “How to Make Your Brand Stand Out” was held online on August 15, 2021, with the ZOOM Meeting as its platform. This workshop ran from 7 PM – 9.10 PM with Haris Suhendra, the Corporate Marketing Communication Senior Manager at Bina Nusantara Group, as the speaker. There were various materials explained during the workshop such as the tips and tricks in doing branding, especially in pandemic conditions; and the use of social media in branding. Moreover, this workshop also provide case studies related to products and branding, after which participants will be asked to fill in case templates according to the case studies. Those materials could help participants to understand how to make a brand stand out on several conditions. The speaker also shared his experiences in creating a brand that stands out and how branding relates to the use of social media.

BSSC Workshop “How to Make Your Brand Stand Out” was attended by 265 participants. All the participants looked very enthusiastic and active because a lot of questions were asked to the speaker in the Q&A session. In addition, there were some participants’ questions that can’t be answered because of the limited time. Overall, the workshop ran smoothly, the participants were active, and the speaker was also happy to share his knowledge in this workshop.
