TRAINING “WORKING WITH OTHERS”

DISC Personality Training was held by the HRD Division and Student Development Center with the theme “Working with Others” on March 20, 2021. This training was held to introduce DISC Personality which is expected to help participants understand the personality of BSSC members while working together.
This training began with a pre-test, then Ms. Nesya Fitriani as the speaker informed us about 4 personalities after the participants took the DISC Personality test. It was told that personality D (Domination) has competitive characteristics, strong will, takes control, and the strongest character is power. I (Influence) which has expressive, interactive, enthusiastic traits, and the strongest character is friendly. S (Steadiness) has the characteristics of outsmarting, adding harmony, stability, and the strongest character is calm. C personality (Conscientiousness) with characteristics like analyzing, task-oriented, private, and the strongest character is a thinker. In addition, there were also explanations about fear, focus, strengths, lacks, appearance, driving force, and how to approach each personality type.
The next material was feedback, which is the information used to objectively compare standards with the achievement of a person or group. Where feedback is a way for other people to provide suggestions or criticism that is useful to improve or improve our performance in the future. The things that must be emphasized in giving feedback are action, impact, and desired outcome. After Ms. Nesya Fitriani presented all the materials, the participants practiced giving feedback in groups in the breakout room.
