BSSC LIFE
BSSC Life is another new event held by BSSC this year. It is the continuation of BSSC EXPO. BSSC Life was held from 6th to 8th September 2018 at 4 PM until 9 PM at Exhibition Area, BINUS Square. The purpose of BSSC Life is to help new boarders on finding out more about BSSC and also to help them about the steps of BSSC member recruitment.
BSSC Life is the perfect opportunity where boarders can ask the next Manager of each division in BSSC to know more about the division itself and BSSC. To participate in BSSC Life, boarders must register first and then, they will be directed by the committees to the division they are interested in. After being directed, they can ask everything with their corresponding division Manager.
At BSSC Life, there are also performances, trial classes, and mini-games. The performances were various. There were singing performances, guitar, and many more by boarders. For Art, Creative Media, and IT Division, they each had trial class related to their own division. Art Division had a guitar trial, where committees from Art Division taught boarders how to play guitar. Creative Media Division had a tracing trial, where they taught boarders how to use Adobe Illustrator and do a basic picture tracing. Lastly, IT Division had a programming trial, where they taught boarders about basic programming material. Meanwhile, Culture Division offered boarders to play traditional games from other countries, such as ddakji from Korea and Barrel Pirate from Japan. Other divisions like HRD, PR, Social, and Sport Division had mini games such as quizzes.
After summing the visitors up, the total visitors BSSC Life had were 80 boarders. We hoped that, after they participated in BSSC Life, boarders will know more about BSSC and also its 8 divisions. An extra feature in BSSC Life is that boarders can submit proposals which is their first assignment in order to join BSSC.
