On Friday, 11th August 2023, there was an event named “Cerita BS-qu” that is about the compilation of boarder’s story which is thrilling, funny, and exciting. At first, the committees started to tell stories about unique experiences that they experienced while living in BINUS Square and they also gave jokes to soften the situation. While enjoying the jokes and stories, the participants could eat popcorn and drink tarik tea or lemon tea.

The first story is about the difference between life in Jakarta and the area of origin where Jakarta has a lot of pollution while in the area of origin the air is fresh, then the story of how parents went to school in the past which can be felt when traveling for the first time from Syahdan to Anggrek and vice versa. During the trip, we passed through electric cables, passing motorbikes, and tempting snacks so that we left with empty hands and arrived at the campus with empty pockets. There are also stories about returning to Jakarta during the internship period during the covid period so that you can already experience using public transportation such as crowding, mutual embarrassment and finally offering each other a seat. The next story is about a short story of the most memorable ups and downs during 5 years in Jakarta as a student who migrated to BINUS Square and invited boarders to share their stories while at BINUS Square.

After that, the committee gave the Google Form link for the participants to share their experiences of life in BINUS Square and there is a story that catches the committee’s eyes that is about university’s life which is very different from high school’s life as he lived alone. Also, how he tried to adapt with the new environment. His story is interesting and to appreciate his bravery to tell some of his experience, the committee awarded him a gift.

Finally, the committees closed the event by taking the photos together and the committee distributed the questionnaire so the participants could fill their evaluation toward the event.
