Exploring Chinatown is a collaboration event that was set up Kenneth Leavi Santoso, a senior on the BINUS Square Student Committee. Bryan Ongko who is a Floor Coordinator on BINUS Square, and Vincent Felix who is also a Floor Coordinator on BINUS Square. All of which are operating as activists of BINUS Square. The event was held on Saturday, 23rd of July 2022 inviting the boarders of BINUS Square as the main participants.

The event started by gathering all the participants in the Front Office area of BINUS Square at 11.00 in the morning. The participants are gathered to receive the previously deposited money from the event committee and recheck the present participants. After receiving the deposited money and making sure that all of the participants are present, the participants are directed to get into the bus and before finally taking off at 11.30 to Pancoran Glodok. On the bus, the participants and the committee spends the one-hour ride playing the ice-breaking game and also a short briefing regarding the activities for the day. Not only that they are told they spent the day as they like, they are also told that the participants that took the best picture of the day will receive a special price.

After arriving, the participants are split into groups and then directed to spend the time as much as they liked. They can spend the time as they like until 16.00 when the participants would order an online driver as their ride home for the day. Hours passed until 16.00, and all of the participants are directed to go home with an online driver’s service. The participants then submit their best picture through Gmail where the best three pictures will be picked by the committee and receive their prices.
