BSSC GATHERING
BSSC Gathering is an event held by the HRD Division of BSSC 11th Presidency that aims to help BSSC’s members socialize and improve their teamwork skill. BSSC Gathering was held on Sunday, 8th August 2021 from 10 a.m until 4 p.m. This event was attended by 62 participants which were BSSC’s members from Chairman, Executive Committee, Executive Manager, Senior Staff, and Junior Staff.
The theme of this event was “Neighborhood Watch”. The story of this event is about a UFO that consists of a group of aliens falling down to a small town named Binusville. At that time, the Vice Mayor heard a loud banging sound but she ignored it and continued to sleep because the next day they will hold a big event for Binusville’s Mayor pension. But, the Mayor and Vice Mayor didn’t know that there are 8 villagers from each family go to the crash site of the UFO. They found several aliens but those aliens kill them and take over their bodies to outwit BinusVille.
At the Mayor’s pension event, the Mayor asked every family to make a family tree and the history of their family as a keepsake. Then, the Vice Mayor remembered about last night’s incident and she asked the Mayor and other villagers about it but they didn’t hear that sound. Because of the suspicion of the Mayor, he delegated an Investigator to check out that location.
After those families had done their task that was requested by the Mayor, the Mayor asked each family to do a presentation of their family tree and the history. After the presentation is done and the Mayor is going to announce a reward for the best presentation from a family, the Investigator suddenly came and informed them that a UFO falling down to the village. What’s even more surprising, the Investigator informed them that he found 8 unidentified corpses and 1 alien’s corpse. After the Investigator investigated further to the alien’s corpse, he found that the alien had disguised himself as a villager before his death. But according to Binusville’s data, the Investigator didn’t see any villagers were missing.
When the investigator enters the UFO, he meets mysterious strangers. Mysterious Stranger told the investigator that they were trying to get inside the UFO to solve the problem. However, there is a guard robot guarding the fragments of the clue. Only Binusville residents can enter and clear the obstacle.Therefore, the investigator asked the residents of Binusville to help him in solving the obstacles in the UFO. Later, the residents of Binusville will work on 4 obstacles, each of which is guarded by a robot. This obstacle will later help them in getting the clue fragments that were said by the investigator.
The first obstacle is to find the imposter where in this obstacle one family will guess the picture and the imposter from another family. Then there is Riddle Tic Tac Toe which is an obstacle to the Tic Tac Toe game where a song that has been translated into Indonesian will play and each family has to guess and sing a piece of the song. The Battle of luck is an obstacle where the game uses dice similar to monopoly and the last is Field observation where each family will choose one of their family members to see the answer and give them a clue with a keyword.
After completing these obstacles. The families will return to the town hall again to listen to the investigator’s explanation of the mysterious stranger who will help them provide clues to who the aliens are in each family. However, mysterious strangers will only meet 1 person from each family. Because mysterious strangers have a shy nature.
When the family sends 1 person to meet a mysterious stranger. Later, the mysterious stranger will ask each family if they want to buy a clue or carry out sabotage. Sabotage can only be done by aliens. After that, the family will send one of their families to the town hall to exchange opinions and answers about who the aliens are in each of their families.
After finishing exchanging opinions and answers with other families in the town hall. Each family will make a PowerPoint presentation of who they think is an alien and present it at the town hall. After all the families all finished presenting their PowerPoint presentation. Each family individually votes for 1 person per family to be a suspect as an alien. After that, the people who got the most votes will be in the spotlight and the aliens will reveal themselves when they are in the spotlight.
If only 4 aliens are revealed then the Binusville residents lose and get punished, while if 5 aliens are revealed, the aliens lose and get punished. Overall, BSSC Event Gathering works well, participants could make an interesting story of their family history, they enjoy every obstacle that was given. In the end, the winner is the alien team. Binusville’s villagers failed to catch all of the aliens. They only can catch 3 aliens out of 8 aliens. The aliens ran away and took all of the family’s PowerPoint presentations. To prevent those aliens from messing with other villages, the mayor asked every family to post their family photo, and mark the alien on that photo. This is done to inform other villages to be aware of those aliens.
