BSSC VENDOR APPROACH TRAINING

Vendor Approach Training is a program from the Public Relation Division BSSC 11th Presidency in the form of training and soft skills provision in establishing relationships with outside parties. Vendor Approach Training is held on August 5th and 6th, 2021.

The first day of the Vendor Approach Training was held on August 5, 2021. The participants were taught about the process of vendor approach. The first-day trainer was Ichsan, the Cooperation Section Head, who explains the process of vendor approach. The training began with an introduction to material about how BSSC interacts with external parties and the things that need to be prepared, such as external proposals. And then Evelyn Angela, the Vice Chairman of Legal and Human Resources, explained about MoA (a document written between parties to cooperatively work together on an agreed upon project).

The second day of the Vendor Approach Training was carried out by inviting BSSC seniors who will act as vendors. There are three seniors which will represent the three vendors who come from a different category, those are food and beverages, fashion, and electronics. In this session, participants were divided into three breakout rooms based on the vendor’s category. Inside the break out room, participants practiced vendor approaches and then followed by a feedback session from the seniors. The senior for the food and beverages vendor was the Chairman of BSSC 11th Presidency, Gilbert Lorentius. The fashion vendor’s senior was BSSC Public Relation Division alumni, Jesselin. Lastly, the electronic vendor’s senior was also BSSC Public Relation Division alumni, Kendra Arsena.
