BSSC EXCOOR TRAINING PROGRAM – BATCH 2

EXCOOR Training Program is a program from the HRD Division BSSC 11th Presidency that is useful for BSSC members to find out how to prepare and run the events they will work on in the future. EXCOOR Training Program is held on May 15, 17, and 18, 2021. It consists of EXCOM Technical Training, EXCOOR Technical Training, and Personal Skill Training.

The first day of the EXCOOR Training Program is EXCOM Technical Training which was held on May 16, 2021. The participants were taught how to become an EXCOM event. The EXCOM event itself consists of the Project Manager, Vice PM, Secretary, and Treasurer. The first-day trainer was Gilbert Lorentius, the Chairman of BSSC 11th Presidency, who explains the job description of the Project Manager and Vice Project Manager. And then Ruth Destiny, the Vice Chairman of Operational, explained the job description of the Secretary. Finally, William Justin, the Vice Chairman of Finance, explained about the Treasury’s job description.

The second day of the EXCOOR Training Program is EXCOOR Technical Training. In this session, participants were given the material on how EXCOOR does their job description. During this session, participants were divided into four breakout rooms. They learned specifically the responsibilities and job descriptions of their division. The division consists of Event, Publication and Documentation, Consumption and Registration, and Partnership Division. The trainer for the Event Division was the Chairman of BSSC 11th Presidency, Gilbert Lorentius. The Publication and Documentation Division was taught by the Vice Chairman of Finance, William Justin. And then, the Vice Chairman of Operational, Ruth Destiny, explained the material for the Consumption and Registration Division. Lastly, the Vice Chairman for Legal and Human Resources, Evelyn Angela, delivered material for the Partnership Division.

The third day of the EXCOOR Training Program is Personal Skill Training. Participants were given the material on how to develop the required soft skills during event-making. Those skills are communication, time management, and introduction to project management. The Chairman of BSSC 11th Presidency, Gilbert Lorentius, was the trainer for this training.
