BSSC Blood Donation
January 10th, 2020, Blood Donation was carried out in the Redwood Room and Cedar Room by bringing PMI. Before the activity began, the committee took a group photo at 09.40 AM and continued the event at 09.45 AM. Participants were directed to the 2nd floor and entered the Cedar Room to register and participants should fill out the forms from PMI for completeness. Moreover, participants give the form along with the queue number, then participants are invited to sit and waiting for the due diligence in the Redwood Room. After that, participants who successfully pass the due diligence will stay, and for those who unsuccess were directed to photo booth. There were 77 registered participants and 58 of them declared success to donate blood.
Participants who had been waiting alternately to donate blood in the Redwood Room, some participants experienced side effects such as weakness and nausea. We as the committee of Blood Donation helped the participant to lie on the floor and give them warm sweet tea. Participants who had finished donating blood were given snacks and donor cards and were invited to take warm sweet tea.
At the end of the Blood Donation, the committee gave merchandise to PMI then took photos together. The Blood Donation was finished at 12.40 PM and the committee helped PMI to tidy up the items that carried by them.
