BSSC EXPO 2017
BSSC EXPO 2017 has been held for 2 days from 30th until 31th August 2017. The theme of this year was “New Year New You”. This theme was chosen because there are new boarders that will stay at BINUS Square. BSSC EXPO was organized by BSSC (BINUS Square Student Committee) to welcome new boarders as well as introduce BSSC to new boarders. In fact, BSSC EXPO opened a registration for new boarders to be a part of BSSC.
This year, BSSC EXPO proposed a concept where the booths of divisions were placed in a circle form and a tall monumental tower was placed in the center of EXPO. The booths were prepared to give a brief explanation of the 9 divisions in BSSC. Each division was explained by the managers or other trained BSSC members. There, they explained all things that the new members will get and do in one presidency. Meanwhile, the monument or tower described all the big events held by BSSC for the past year.
Participants who wanted to enter this EXPO must fill in the registration first and then will be accompanied by a tour guide who is a member of BSSC itself to explore the booths at the EXPO. Not only that, the participant was also explained about the big events in the BSSC which was certainly very interesting and fun. After that, participants will be ushered to the BSSC registration desk to register as BSSC member. But for those who had not been interested or still needed some time to think about it, they might still register by visiting the registration link that BSSC had provided. BSSC also provided opportunities for participants who visit EXPO to do lucky draw with fairly easy terms namely by following BSSC’s social medias.
On the first day, BSSC EXPO was visited by 143 participants who mostly were women. On the next day, BSSC EXPO was visited by 200 participants who mostly were men. BSSC hoped that after participating in BSSC EXPO, new boarders could be equipped with various knowledge about BSSC, starting from the activities, events, togetherness and many more. BSSC EXPO !!
