Independence Day, Parents Gathering ,New Boarder Check-In

 Independence Day

On August, there are a few events held although almost all events are annual big events. The events such as Independence Day, Parents Gathering and New Boarder Orientation are held on this month by Binus Square Management and BSSC. BSSC is the student committee which is on Binus Square.

Independence Day celebration is one of the big events in Indonesia. This event was filled by kinds of competitions which were followed by boarders. Boarders enthusiastically joined the competition. The competitions were the traditional games such as spoon-marble, thread-needle, bakiak (big wooden sandals), pencil-bottle. As this event was held on this year Ramadhan so we broke the fast together after the competition. It continued with watching movie together.

Parents Gathering

Parent’s Gathering was just held in this year. The parents of boarders gladly welcomed the event. This event was held on the day of mass check-in. This is for the parents who were companying their young to check in, to have special event that informed about their young’s benefits of staying at Binus Square.

New Boarder Check-In & Orientation

New boarder orientation called BSSC Wonder, is the event to introduce all facilities, activities, benefits and self development offered by Binus Square. This orientation is compulsory for all new boarders to join. The orientation was held in a few batches. A performance by new boarders closed the orientation which was held in 2 days for each batch.

August is a month which has not many events but is a month with big events that involve many people.
