Dimasa pandemi memang penjualan daring menjadi primadona, namun mendatangi mall atau toko merupakan rekreasi tersendiri yang bisa menjauhkan diri dari stress dan kejenuhan walaupun harus menjalani protokol kesehatan. Di jaman modern seperti sekarang, sebuah toko tidak bisa hanya menjual produk saja, tapi sebuah toko harus bisa menjual suasana. Konsumen memilih tempat untuk berbelanja dipengaruhi oleh kebutuhan, keinginan, dan pilihan dari konsumen itu sendiri. Tanpa faktor emosional dan situasi yang mendukung, konsumen hanya memilih toko berdasarkan informasi yang sampai kepada konsumen dalam berntuk iklan. Komunikasi yang banyak terjadi adalah komunikasi dalam media iklan radio, tv, cetak, website, toko-toko online, dan media-media besar lainnya, tetapi hal ini tidak lah lengkap. Desain toko dan <em>layout<\/em> tetap mempunyai peranan penting dalam memotivasi konsumen untuk datang ke toko.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Membangun suasana toko yang semenarik mungkin<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Suasana yang nyaman bisa dibangun dengan<em> layout<\/em> toko yang dibuat semenarik mungkin agar konsumen betah berada di toko tersebut, lebih lama melihat-lihat dan sampai akhirnya terjadi pembelian tidak direncanakan. Apapun yang dijual, dari barang eksklusif hingga murah sekalipun jika kita bisa membuat suasana lebih nyaman maka konsumen akan loyal kepada kita dan pembelian impulsif akan lebih besar terjadi. Persepsi konsumen tentang faktor kenyamanan secara visual bisa dilihat dari bagaimana kita mengatur tata letak produk (<em>shelf space)<\/em>, tata letak rak pajang (<em>shelf positioning).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7562\" src=\"http:\/\/binus.ac.id\/bandung\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Capture1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"632\" height=\"361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/binus.ac.id\/bandung\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Capture1.jpg 632w, https:\/\/binus.ac.id\/bandung\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Capture1-480x274.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 632px) 100vw, 632px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Secara penataan produk di dalam <em>concept store<\/em> lebih menarik dibandingkan toko pakaian pada umumnya. Barang yang dijual pada <em>concept store <\/em>secara varian lebih banyak dan unik sehingga penataan produk secara kategori juga lebih beragam. \u00a0<strong><em>Concept store<\/em><\/strong><strong> adalah model retail dengan proses jual beli yang melibatkan efek psikologi didalamnya. Pada penerapannya, toko ini mencampurkan banyak produk dari desainer dan merek yang berbeda-beda. Contohnya toko dengan konsep <\/strong><em>ecologically friendly, luxurious<\/em> atau <em>street wear<\/em>. Produk-produk yang ditawarkan adalah pakaian, sepatu, aksesoris, buku, kosmetik, makanan, alat-alat elektronik sampai dengan mebel. Semua produk harus mempunyai konsep yang sama, hal ini sangat penting karena sesuai dengan filosofi <em>concept store<\/em> sendiri yaitu mengekspresikan <em>layout<\/em> toko yang unik untuk memunculkan karakter dari produk yang dijual. Spesialnya dari <em>concept store<\/em> adalah barang-barang yang dijualnya pasti eksklusif.
