Getting ready for an interview is essential because it is typically the last step in the process of looking for a job. One of a personality traits that will be evaluated is an interviews. As described by Gumilar (2017), job interview is &#8220;a relational dyadic communication process with serious and predetermined goals designed to exchange behavior and involve questioning and answering, or, in short, a conversation with a purpose.&#8221; The individual who is in charge of conducting job interviews is referred to as the interviewer, and the applicant who is being interviewed is referred to as the subject of the interview. Afterwards, in general, the purpose of job interviews is to discover the personality of the applicant, discover relevant information that is required in the job requirements, obtain additional information that is required for the position and the company, and make it easier for the employer to identify candidates who are qualified for a job offer. It is still important to conduct interviews when evaluating candidates, despite the fact that the validity of interviews is somewhat lower than that of psychological tests, which can provide a more accurate picture of job applicants.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, job applicants should be prepared to conduct job interviews in English in order to remain competitive in the job application process, on the global market, and in the 4.0 era. This is because there are a significant number of job openings with foreign companies that are based in Indonesia and conduct business there. In the event that you are invited to a job interview in English, the next step that you should take is to prepare. According to Nikolaou and Georgiou (2018), one of the preparations involves practicing how to respond to interview questions. Prospective job candidates will find that it is of great assistance in maintaining their composure and providing accurate responses to questions. The language that is used during a job interview is the only thing that differentiates an English interview from an Indonesian interview. In spite of this, prospective job candidates, particularly those who are applying for jobs with international companies, are required to continue to prepare for this interview in English. They should, however, be well-prepared to explain and respond to interview questions in English. This would be the best possible outcome.<\/p>\n<p>Futhermoore, during, and after the application process, job applicants are required to begin making preparations for an interview with an English-speaking interviewer. In order to be more competitive with other applicants and secure the position that is desired, a company or agency that conducts job interviews in English also anticipates that prospective job applicants will be able to communicate in English fluently. During the interview process, which is typically comprised of questions and answers, the purpose is to gather information about the individuals who are applying for jobs. There is a determination made regarding whether or not the applicant is qualified to be hired. Researching the questions that are most likely to be asked during the interview process is essential for job applicants, particularly those who have recently graduated from college (Roulin et al., 2019). Additionally, as a good candidate, they are required to prepare alternative responses to questions that will be asked in the future. This is due to the fact that the interviewer has prepared all of the questions that will be asked during the job interview in advance. Job applicants will have prepared these questions in advance. a phrase that can be translated as &#8220;preparation meets preparation.&#8221; If HR is only responsible for preparing interview questions, then applicants should also try to come up with alternative responses. It is for this reason that they are well-prepared and self-assured to answer any questions that may be asked during the interview.
