The tests are available in paper-based and computer-based test. To take the test, the test takers are required to travel to the test centre. During the pandemic, it becomes pretty challenging for some people, and therefore Duolingo start to gain its\u2019 popularity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00a0Duolingo is another English proficiency test that is accepted by many world-class institutions, such as Columbia University, Yale, Duke University, John Hopkins, and etc. This test is deemed to be more convenient as the test can be done online anywhere, anytime without requiring the test takers to travel to the test centre. In addition, the result can be obtained within 48 hours of completing the test, and it could be shared with anyone immediately. So, if you need to send your score reports to other institutions, you can do it easily without additional cost. On top of that, Duolingo is also more affordable compared to other English proficiency certifications. At the moment, it costs around $49.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00a0To access Duolingo, however, the test takers need to have reliable internet connection. Besides, it is very important to use computer with Windows or MacOS, a front facing camera, a microphone, and speakers.
