However, in today&#8217;s modern retail landscape, YSL faces a distinct challenge. The brand&#8217;s current store designs heavily rely on an overly minimal and uniform interior concept. As a result, consumers and critics alike feel that many YSL boutiques look too similar, lacking a sense of distinctiveness, particularly in mature markets.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">To address this challenge, this retail planning project introduces a groundbreaking visual concept: &#8220;Yves Steampunk Laurent&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Through this concept, we reimagine YSL\u2019s visual identity through a lens of bold contrast. Moving away from typical minimalism, this design embraces a maximalist approach with rich details that firmly place YSL into the Steampunk era. The retail environment&#8217;s mood is crafted to be sophisticated yet gritty, perfectly balancing high-fashion elegance with a rebellious spirit.
