GISTM Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

– Support and coordinate the implementation and ongoing compliance with GISTM, company standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

– Monitor compliance with TSF governance requirements and proactively identify any gaps or opportunities for improvement.

– Coordinate with the Construction team and external consultants to ensure that GISTM requirements are consistently implemented across projects with proper evidence and records.

– Maintain all TSF governance documentation, including risk registers, management plans, operating procedures, and emergency preparedness documents.

– Support the continuous improvement and implementation of TSF management systems, document control, and governance processes.

– Stay updated on GISTM, ANCOLD, ICMM, and other applicable tailings management standards, and support their implementation when required.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline.

– Basic knowledge of tailings dams would be an advantage.

– Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a mature professional approach.

– English proficiency would be an advantage.

– Strong verbal and written communication skills.

– Strong ability to work effectively and collaborate across multiple teams.

– Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting purposes.

– Willing to be site-based.
