The Social Media Strategist is someone who is interested in engaging people online, knows that listening is the first step to good communication, and have deep knowledge about Facebook, Instagram and Youtube. As a Social Media Strategist, he/she will possess a moderate-to-high level of knowledge and skills to manage a large social media account, and/or a few smaller ones simultaneously. He/she will have strong project management, client counseling, people management and business development skills, and possess an interest in the emerging discipline of social media for business.

As a Social Media Strategist, he/she will possess a moderate-to-high level of knowledge and skills to manage a large social media account, and/or a few smaller ones simultaneously. He/she will have strong project management, client counseling, people management and business development skills, and possess an interest in the emerging discipline of social media for business.
He/she will take responsibility for social media projects, providing excellent client service, applying the office’s best resources, effectively managing people involved in projects and managing for profitable growth.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma from an accredited university or college
- 1 year working experience in client servicing and/or account management, preferably in a multi-national environment. Social media acumen will be an added advantage.
- Agency experience is a plus point
- Able to manage a servicing team, build the confidence and support of key client contacts and execute multiple campaigns at the same time
- Understands social media communications in both the process level and technology of platforms such as Facebook, Youtube, and Instagram.
- Good writer and/or editor capable of directing the written materials of juniors.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and people skills.
