aCommerce is looking for a Lead Front-End Web Developer who can combine design with programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
A successful candidate will develop the web-based, integration and workflow necessary to manage those applications.

Job purpose
The aCommerce Lead Front-End Web Developer will be responsible for building a world-class portal for managing the product catalog of the largest online Southeast Asia’s Brands. This platform will include services for:
– Managing content and inventory of thousands of products,
– Defining the distribution channels strategy within Southeast Asia,
– Providing dynamic reporting to Brands through desktop and mobile applications.

Duties and responsibilities
– Taking on a leadership role
– Growing and mentoring a team of highly competent and motivated engineers
– Continually improving TDD and QA processes
– Taking a regular and active role in providing user support and or providing visibility into the components which makes support more efficient
– Collaborate with the team
– Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
– Design and implementation of data storage solutions
– Taking a regular and active role in providing user support and or providing visibility into the components which makes support more efficient
– Helping performance test critical components
– Helping us build and make sure we deliver a scalable platform
– Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX
– Optimize application Speed
– Build reusable code and libraries
– Collaborate with the team
– Assure that all input is validated before submitting to back-end
– Analysis UI and UX site
– Develop new user-facing features
– Build reusable code and libraries for future use
– Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
– Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
– Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
– Evaluate new technologies and share your experience with other aCommerce teams

Capability
– Proficient understanding responsive mobile site
– Knowledge of HMVC architectures
– Proficient understanding HTML5, Web Markup, CSS3
– Proficient understanding on versioning tools (github)
– Ability to program confidently in a web language (OOP PHP, Javascript)
– Knowledge of HMVC architectures
– Developed with at least one CMS framework or web application framework
– Basic command on linux
– Proficient understanding on versioning tools (github)
– Enthusiasm for innovation in the tech industry, including continuous learning and improvement
– Understands the technologies and languages which power the web such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
– Has experience with Git or another version control system
– Has experience manage team
– Has experience at least 4 years in web development
