The APAC Technology Department is tasked with positioning Cushman & Wakefield as a forward-thinking, knowledge-driven and innovation-led firm by constantly leveraging existing and new technologies for the benefit of our firm and our clients. In performing this role the team provides best-in-class infrastructure and service delivery while also engaging with staff, management and clients across the Asia Pacific region to:

APAC TECHNOLOGY SERVICE DELIVERY
Technology Service Delivery fits within the Technology Operations group and encompasses:

  • Service Delivery – responsible for providing desk-side support (2nd level) to the APAC business.
  • Service Delivery Management – responsible for managing corporate and contracted desk-side support staff within specific countries.

THE ROLE
The Technology Service Delivery Specialist reports into the APAC Head of Technology Service Delivery or sub-regional Technology Service Delivery Manager and is responsible for all aspects of technology service delivery within a defined geographical area.
The key aspects of the role within the geographical area are:

  • Budgeting: Day-to-day financial management and responsibility for the local budget and escalating variances to the APAC Head of Technology Service Delivery in a timely fashion.
  • Vendor Management: Manage external suppliers, including maintenance and support contracts, and proactively identify opportunities to increase performance and reduce costs.
  • Administration: Ensure all technology systems are kept up-to-date and audit requirements are met in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Standards: Ensure APAC contribute to global standards for infrastructure and service delivery and ensure standards and processes are adhered to at all times.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure all APAC incidents and requests are logged in Service Now, monitor and manage all support services within operational level agreements (OLAs) and share resolution insights through team meetings, knowledge base articles and against relevant GSD tickets.
  • Desktops: Maintain local desktop infrastructure, including PC image and patch management and application packaging.
  • Servers: Maintain local servers – including backup and restore and storage management.
  • Projects: Work with and within project teams to deliver project tasks on time and to agreed expectations.
  • Business Engagement: Regularly meet with key stakeholders and ensure technology solutions are developed with and for the business.
  • Improvement & Innovation: Identify opportunities to deploy new technologies to help the business meet strategic and operational goals and to increase staff productivity, engagement and experience. Raise ideas for discussion within the Technology Team.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Essential

  • Completely fluent in written and spoken English
  • A university graduate in an appropriate subject
  • Experience of working in an ITIL environment (ideally implementing ITIL processes)
  • A minimum of two years’ experience of supporting an enterprise desktop environment
  • Experience working in a virtual team and delivering project tasks where required
  • Desirable
  • Experience working within a professional services business environment for a multi-national company
  • Formal ITIL qualifications

  • Self-starter who keeps up-to-date with technology trends and opportunities and who constantly looks for ways to improve their own skills, knowledge and experience through informal learning and formal training.
