General Information

ABB Indonesia is looking to recruit for its Global Trainee Program (GTP) for Information System. The GTP is a trainee program of 18-24 months, which provides IS professionals an insight into the areas of Infrastructure Operations, Security or Technology Planning, IS Architecture or IS Sourcing. Because of its global nature this trainee program allows you to work in 3 different countries, experience diverse work cultures and job assignments.

Tasks

The first 6 months are spent at the ABB office in Jakarta. Thereafter, you will have the opportunity to move to across ABB locations for another assignment. The GTP will include the following exposures:

1. IS Service Delivery : Infrastructure Operation (Cisco), Application Operation (SAP, .Net Developer), Security (Vulnerability Management, Patch Management), Risk Management (Sarbanes Oxley Act / SOX), Technology Planning.
2. IS Architecture :  Corporate Roadmap, Integrating Systems (SAP), Standard Setting (IS Governance Model).
3. IS Sourcing : Vendor Management, Contract Negotiations, License Management.
4. Soft skill competencies : International and virtual teamwork, leadership and management skills, influencing and communication skills, innovation and creativity, social competency.

Requirements:

We are looking for individuals who meet this profile:

• Recent graduates (MSc level studies or equivalent) with minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4 in the fields of Information Technology and Information Systems (MTI / MMSI).
  
• No more than 1.5 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication skills and proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Flexible, adaptable & geographically mobile.
• Independent / able to work under minimum supervision.
• Good leadership skills and a team player, organized, and structured.
• Eager to learn and keep him/ herself updated on the fields of Information Technology and Information Systems.
