The Singapore work pass system is straightforward, supported by online applications and efficient processing time.
Employment Pass
This pass is foreign professionals seeking to work in managerial, executive or specialized jobs in Singapore. The Pass has three categories and applicants are assessed based on their salary, qualifications, work experience, nature of job, and other factors. This pass is applied for the individual through the employer with whom a job has been secured.
EMPLOYMENT PASS ELIGIBILITY SUMMARY
Pass Type : P1
Basic Requirement :
- Fixed monthly salary of at least $8,000
- Possesses acceptable qualifications
Pass Type : P2
Basic Requirement :
- Fixed monthly salary of at least $4,500
- Possesses acceptable qualifications
Pass Type : Q1
Basic Requirement :
- Young graduates from good institutions could qualify if they earn at least $3,000
- Older applicants would have to command higher salaries to qualify, commensurate with the work experience and quality they are expected to bring

b) Unmarried or legally adopted children aged under 21
Long Term Visit Pass :
a) Common-law spouse
b) Children of common-law spouse

Dependents’ Pass :
a) Spouse
b) Unmarried or legally adopted children aged under 21
Long Term Visit Pass :
a) Common-law spouse
b) Children of common-law spouse
c) Handicapped children aged above 21

Pass Type : Q1
Dependents’ Pass :
Q1 Pass holder with a fixed monthly salary of at least $4,000 may apply for a Dependents’ Pass for their:
a) Spouse
b) Unmarried or legally adopted children aged under 21
Long Term Visit Pass :
Not applicable
