PT. Rockliffe Indonesia - Lead Mobile Java Developer

As Lead Developer for Rockliffe’s range of mobile messaging products including AstraSync (http://www.astrasync.com) and Mangga (http://www.mangga.me/en/), your job contain:
•         20% Project management:
o   Providing estimates to Product Management for new features, working with other Engineers as required
o   Working with Product Management to agree content for future versions, splitting releases into phases as required
o   Produce and track progress against project plans providing status to Product Management and Executives
•         60% Development
o   Leading technology choices and high level design decisions
o   Developing new features and enhancing existing ones
•         20% Support
o   On-going support and maintenance in collaboration with the Technical Support Department
Candidates will have previous experience of mobile application development on the Android and/or BlackBerry platform, including UI development, data storage, multithreading, and HTTP/TCP server communication.   The following skills are required:
•         Solid Java OO programming
•         1st or 2:1 degree in a Computing related field
•         Debugging and profiling J2ME and Dalvik applications
•         User interface design
•         Developing custom Canvas-based UI components
•         Development with Eclipse and Ant
Candidates without J2ME experience but with strong J2SE or Android skills will also be considered.
