Class Performance for Guitar and Vocal Class 2017

On Monday, 17th April 2017 Art Division of BSSC held a Class Performance for Guitar and Vocal Class participants. It started at 20.00 and ended at 21.00in BS 301. Guitar and Vocal participants finally got the experience how to do a performance in front of the audiences.

The event started at 20.00but the participants of Guitar Class and Vocal Class were gathered at 19.00 in BS 301. For vocal class participants, they warmed up and did some voice vocalizing to prepare the song that they are going to perform. While the Guitar Class participants, they took some time to practice out of the room themselves. Not only the participants of Guitar and Vocal Class who did the performances, the audiences and the mentors also did the performance. After the opening section, Hans Christian, the mentor of Guitar class did a duet performance with Cristian Prasetyo, the project manager of this Guitar and Vocal Class 2017. The next performance was one of the Guitar Class participant, Nabila, performing a song alongside with Evan Matthew. Then, the third performance was another Guitar Class participant, Kevin Yang, performing with Mia singing “Love Yourself” by Justin Bieber. The mentor of Vocal Class, Hegra Aditama and Stefany Chandra also did a duet performance with a guitar, played by Hegra Aditama. Finally, the participants of Guitar and Vocal Class had the chance to watch their mentor’s skill. At the end of the performance section, the Vocal Class participants also performed a song that they had been learned and conducted by Hegra Aditama. In the end, the mentors and participants were given their certificate and took a photo as the documentary section.

The audiences were very excited to watch the performance from the Guitar and Vocal Class participants and the mentors. The seat was fully seated with the audience. They came to watch their friends did the performance and some of them curious about the progress of Guitar and Vocal Class. From this event, the audience got to know about the Vocal and Guitar Class too.

Even though the Vocal and Guitar Class have already ended, the mentors hoped that the participants still want to develop their skill in guitar and vocal. Hegra said that the participants’ progress was beyond expectation, so that he hoped that there will be more participants on the next Guitar and Vocal Class event next year.
