Hady is one of the speakers in the event Industry Gathering: Changing Battleground held at BINUS BUSINESS SCHOOL, Joseph Wibowo Center Campus, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (14/12). Prof. Dr. Mts. Arief, MM, MBA, CPM; Executive Dean BBS, Firdaus Alamsjah, Ph.D, and Pulung Peranginangin were also present in the event themed The Need to Lead and Manage Business the Smart Way.

Not only will it boost one’s career, a doctorate program will also make someone honored by society, especially in other countries. “Because of these benefits, doctoral programs are not just regular programs and not created for everyone. The person who receives a doctorate title must have a remarkable intellectuality and ability,” Hady said.

According to Hady, there are two compulsory facts we need to know in every doctorate programs. The first, Hady added, the doctorate program is created to develop one’s ability to master a specific subject. Moreover, before receiving a doctorate title, a person would be tested with a series of examinations. This is a challenge of its own.

Besides explaining almost everything about doctorate programs, Hady also shared his experience in obtaining the degree. Arief and Pulung also shared their stories about the doctorate programs according to their point of views and the practical function of these degrees when they work in industry and educational sectors.

The purpose of the event, which was organized by BBS Doctor of Research in Management (DRM) Program, Strategy and Growth, is to encourage other practitioners to continue their studies up to the doctoral level. The objective is to increase competence and to create a significant leap, not only by trainings but also by doctoral degrees.
